These terms are an agreement between you and Magnet Giant, Inc., doing business as Everything Magnet (“Everything Magnet,” “we,” “us”). By applying to or taking part in the Everything Magnet Affiliate Program, you agree to them. They are short and in plain English.
1. Joining the Program
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate information when you apply.
- We review every application and may approve or decline it at our discretion.
- We may remove any affiliate from the program at any time for breaking these terms.
2. Commissions and Tracking
- Affiliates earn a commission pool of 30% of the order subtotal on qualifying sales (shipping and tax are not included).
- Referral link: when a customer buys through your link and no affiliate coupon is used, you earn the full 30%.
- Coupon codes: you may create up to five coupon codes in your Affiliate Dashboard. Each gives the customer 10% to 20% off, in 1% steps, and you choose the amount. You keep the rest of the 30% pool. For example, a 15% customer coupon earns you 15% of the order subtotal before the discount.
- Referrals through your link are tracked with a 30-day cookie. If a visitor clicks your link and buys within 30 days, you get credit.
- Commissions are reversed on orders that are refunded, canceled, or found to be fraudulent.
- You may use your own links and coupon codes on your own purchases.
3. Getting Paid
- Payouts are sent through Stripe to the account you connect in your Affiliate Dashboard. You must complete Stripe’s onboarding to receive payouts.
- The minimum payout is $100. Smaller balances roll over until they reach $100.
- You are responsible for your own taxes. If your yearly payouts reach the IRS reporting threshold, we may require a completed W-9 (or equivalent) before further payouts.
4. FTC Disclosure — Required
The U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires anyone who earns a commission from a recommendation to clearly disclose that relationship (FTC Endorsement Guides, 16 CFR Part 255). As an Everything Magnet affiliate you must:
- Disclose your affiliate relationship close to your link or recommendation, before the link, and not buried in a footer, bio, or “about” page.
- Disclose in every post, page, email, video, livestream, or social post that contains your link or coupon code. On video, say it out loud and put it in the description. On social media, a tag such as #ad or #affiliate near the top is the minimum.
- Use plain wording. Examples that work: “I earn a commission if you buy through my link” or “This is my affiliate link, and I get a cut at no extra cost to you.”
- Say only things about Everything Magnet products that are true and that you believe. If you talk about your results, they must be your real results.
Affiliates who fail to disclose are removed from the program. This protects you (FTC penalties apply to endorsers), us, and the customers who trust your recommendation.
5. Honest Marketing
- No spam by email, comments, direct messages, or otherwise. Share your link where people have chosen to hear from you.
- No false or exaggerated product claims. Product details, shipping terms, and our guarantee are what our website says they are, so link to us for the details.
- No bidding on “Everything Magnet,” “Magnet Giant,” or confusingly similar terms in paid search, and no copying our brand in domains, social handles, or ads.
- No cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden frames, or any method that claims credit without a real recommendation and click.
- No posting your coupon code on coupon or deal sites in a way that suggests it is an official Everything Magnet promotion.
6. Using Our Brand
While you are in the program, you may use the logos and banners we provide in your Affiliate Dashboard to promote Everything Magnet. Do not alter them, and do not use our name or marks in a way that suggests you are Everything Magnet or speak for us. This permission ends when your participation ends.
7. The Fine Print
- You are an independent promoter, not our employee, agent, or partner.
- Either of us can end your participation at any time. Legitimate commissions earned before then are still paid. Commissions earned in violation of these terms are forfeited.
- We may update these terms. If we do, we will post the new version here with a new date, and continuing in the program means you accept the update.
